Scottish Hospitals Inquiry Remit, Terms of Reference and Contact Details

Now that the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Independent Review has published its report, focus now turns to the upcoming Inquiry into the construction of the QEUH, Glasgow and the RHCYP/DCN, Edinburgh (the Scottish Hospitals Inquiry). The Inquiry has recently published its Remit and Terms of Reference, a copy of this can be downloaded below.

The formal commencement date for the Inquiry is 3 August 2020. However, it is keen to hear now from anyone who participated in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Independent Review.

Independent Review Publishes Report

This is a recording of the co-Chairs official launch of their Report which establishes "whether the design, build, commissioning and maintenance of the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and Royal Hospital for Children has had an adverse impact on the risk of Healthcare Associated Infection and whether there is wider learning for NHS Scotland".

Independent Review Co-chairs

Dr Andrew Fraser and Dr Brian Montgomery have been appointed by the Cabinet Secretary for Health and Sport to co-chair the Review.
