Investigation Team Visit Waste Water Treatment Plant
The co-chairs of the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital (QEUH) Independent Review have visited Shieldhall Water treatment plant after concerns raised by members of the public.
Located close the to QEUH, Dr Brian Montgomery and Dr Andrew Fraser attended the site to better understand the work that goes on there and to discuss any site conditions that might give rise to infection risks.

QEUH Independent Review launches formal call for evidence
The co-Chairs of Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Independent Review have today (Thursday 27 June) launched the Review’s formal Call for Evidence.
Dr Brian Montgomery and Dr Andrew Fraser have been appointed to investigate if the design, build, commissioning and maintenance of the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital (QEUH) and Royal Hospital for Children (RHC) has had an adverse impact on the risk of Healthcare Associated Infection.
